A IBR Dummy/Blind Flange is a kind of industrial piping accessory specially designed for high-pressure applications like pump discharges, boilers, tanks, etc. It consists of two parts, a flat face on the inside and a raised face on the outside. It has a number of uses, some of which include blanking off a section of a pipe system, providing an elevated seating surface, and providing a safe way to fill the system with liquid.
