Two Way Ball Valve A two way ball valve, sometimes referred to as a double acting ball valve, is a type of ball valve used to control the flow of liquids, gases and other fluids. In a two way ball valve, the flow of the fluid is switched by the rotation of the ball, which is connected to a handle on the outside of the valve. When the handle is turned to the open position, fluid is allowed to flow through the valve, and when the handle is turned to the closed position, the fluid is blocked. A two way ball valve is often used in applications where the flow must be stopped and started quickly and efficiently.
