Cast Iron Single Post Hi-Lift Safety Valve F/E Atam IBR The Cast Iron Single Post Hi-Lift Safety Valve F/E Atam IBR is an innovative safety valve designed to be used on high pressure boiler systems. It features a single post system that is easy to install, extremely reliable, and highly effective in controlling steam pressure safely and reliably. It has been designed to meet the IBR requirements for boilers and is able to handle pressures up to 1050 psi. In addition, this hi-lift safety valve is capable of handling a maximum temperature of 500°F. This hi-lift safety valve is constructed of cast iron and features two separate discs in two stages. The primary disc is filled with an elastomeric material to control the opening and closing of the valve. This disc is set at a specified pressure setting and when the pressure reaches that setting, the disc will open, allowing steam to escape from the system.
